At the outset of any counselling relationship, the issues around confidentiality are discussed: I work within the BACP Code of Ethics. As an individual member of BACP, I am bound by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure therein.
