Counselling For You is a private counselling and psychotherapy practice formed by Marion Leslie.

I hold a Diploma in Counselling, Certificates in Supervision, EMDR Practitioner Level 2, Brief Therapy and Couples Counselling, and have also undergone training in Group Facilitation and CBT. I am a BACP Accredited Counsellor and am a UKRCP Registered Independent Counsellor. I have received specialist training in Cancer Counselling from The Cancer Counselling Trust.

I trained at Harrow College and was awarded a Diploma in Counselling by Middlesex University. I am a qualified Person-Centred counsellor, and an Approved Person-Centred Supervisor for Metanoia Institute, North Herts College and for Harrow College for whom I supervise students, who are studying for the Foundation Degree (FdA) in counselling.

As well as my private practice as a counsellor and supervisor of both qualified and student counsellors, I have worked in a variety of settings.

My experience includes working in an agency, counselling young people and adults; I have also been employed as a school counsellor. I have experience of working with issues around Domestic Violence, and of working within the NHS as a counsellor for patients in Primary Care.

Other areas of my work have included Team Facilitation for staff at a Children’s Hospice, I have also supervised a group of counsellors at a youth counselling agency.

In addition to my Private Practice, I have experience of being Managerial Supervisor for an agency that supports Individuals and Families.
